Oldest Universities in the Philippines

1. University of Santo Tomas in Manila was founded in 1611.
2. Colegio de San Juan de Letran was founded in 1630.
3. College of Santa Potenciana, later assimilated by the College of Santa Isabel. 
4. Ateneo de Manila University, with present address in Quezon City, began in 1859.
5. San Beda College, now San Beda University in Manila, was founded in 1901. 
Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental was founded in 1901.
6. Central Luzon Agricultural School, now Central Luzon State University was founded 1907 
Centro Escolar University in Manila was established in 1907. 
7. University of the Philippines in Manila was founded in 1908.
8. De La Salle University in Manila was founded in 1911.
Saint Louis University in Baguio City was founded in 1911. 
9. Adamson University in Manila was founded in 1932.
10.Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City was established in 1933.

Technological University of the Philippines, Philippine Normal University are both established 1901.

FYI, St. Scholastica's College is established in 1906. :)

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines was founded in October 19, 1904 and was previously name as the following:

Manila Business School
(1904–1908)
Philippine School of Commerce
(1908–1952)
Philippine College of Commerce
(1952–1978)

It was granted UNIVERSITY status through Presidential Decree 1341 on April 1, 1978 and was renamed PUP..

Please feature University of the Immaculate Concepcion in Davao City, where it was established in 1905, two years older than Centro Escolar University. Thank you, concerned davaoeno here although not a student of UIC.
